#2 Don't Worry, Glen Can't Actually Have Babies...

... but by god would he ever like to... If he was a she that is. Anyway, second comic up on time, just like clock work. Hope you dig it. In this comic Glen expresses a deep personal fantasy of mine in homage of Tarantula AD. Not to say I haven't dreamt of one day selling my children into slavery, but growing heavy with a rock-band's seed is really just something I've always wanted to do.
Before I call it quits tonight though I feel duty bound to mention that I wrote this comic over a year ago and Tarantula AD has since then broken up and renamed themselves Priestbird. They're literally the same band except now their name implies a whole lot more Judas Priest and Lynard Skynard covers in they're set. See you all Friday!

Spirit of ’76 All Talk ep

Artist: Spirit of ‘76

Album: All Talk ep

Label: (Self-Release) 2007

Spirit of ’76 is a great modern rock group with an ambitious sound that dares you not to enjoy yourself; which while listening to their debut ep, All Talk, is quite the challenge. These Minneapolis natives have self produced (with the help of Jared Logan) and self released a tight, 5 song ep that is as party ready as your CD player is capable of playing it. Lead singer Douglas Lanz provides poppy and exciting vocals that help propel the groups’ post-punk sound, and the combinations of keyboards with Ryan Tenjack’s guitar work make for a familiar sound that is immediately accessible. They may not be the most introspective or groundbreaking group around, but they certainly are one to keep an eye on.

Score: 6 out of 10

#1 Violence

This is the first strip of Noise Pollution I have ever posted online. Glen has an experiment he a prepared, Sam watches. Read on to learn more. Click the image to enlarge.

I'm not entirely sure where I want to go with this strip, but I hope you enjoy it anyway. Its a lot of fun to write so I hope its at least mildly amusing for other people to read. The premise revolves around two guys with way to much time on their hands... also they talk about music and go to shows. Sorta like SLC Punk except the guy with the mohawk takes drugs in moderation and for recreational purposes instead of all at once for a head ache and dieing.

Also for those of you who don't know Superchick, please follow this link to witness the horror. The Horror!
